Repair or Replacement Warranty Policy

Warranty Policy

Cash Monkey Stores offer a ‘2 Year’ Repair or Replacement Warranty on all of the items it sells.

Cash Monkey will firstly attempt, to any ‘Agreed Faulty Item’, to repair the item with our approved in-house repairer. If an item cannot be repaired, or is deemed to be beyond economical repair, a replacement will be offered.

In the event that a repair, or equivalent replacement, cannot be serviced within a reasonable time frame (10 working days), a Credit Note would be issued.

Credit Notes have no time limit and can be used in any Cash Monkey store.

 

Change of Mind Policy

Cash Monkey does not offer a ‘Change of Mind’ policy. However, a credit note ‘could’ be offered if the item is returned within 24 hours and is in the exact same condition as the item was purchased. This will be done at the store’s discretion.

Upon an item being returned, current market value will be applied but would incur the following penalty. The returned item’s value would be recalculated with a 20% reduction on the items original sale value from the date of purchase up to 31 days.

A further reduction of 8% per calendar month in the items value would follow thereafter. This again will be applied at the store’s discretion and will also take into account the condition of the returning item versus when it was originally sold.

 

Exceptions

Exceptions to the above Policy and not covered would be the following:

  • Combustion Engines (Mimi Motos, Quads, RC Cars)
  • Bicycles (Tyres, Gears, Cranks, Breaks, Wheels and Mechanical Parts must be checked and accepted by customer at time of purchase)
  • Water Damage
  • Accidental Damage
  • Alteration to Item’s Original Condition
  • Physical Damage
  • Unlocking of a device by a third party
  • Software Related (Phones, Tablets, PCs, Laptops etc.)
  • Deliberate Damage
  • Power Tool Batteries

 

Jewellery Returns

Jewellery returns can only be exchanged, or a credit issued, within 30 days and only if proven not be either a) Genuine Gold, Silver, Platinum or Palladium b) Genuine Stone as advertised (Diamond, Sapphire, Ruby, Emerald etc.) See above for Change of Mind Policy.

Please note that all of the above must be accompanied with a valid Cash Monkey receipt, (not credit or debit card receipt). This does not affect your statutory rights.
