What is Pawnbroking?


Pawnbroking is where you take out a short term loan (usually 6 or 7 months) against an item of value. These items could be gold, diamond jewellery, watches, designer luggage etc.


Take your item into any Cash Monkey branch where a member of our team will be happy to appraise and offer you an amount based upon the items value. This will be stored safely and securely until the loan is repaid.


At any time during the period of your loan, you can make payments against it to suit you. This would reduce the cost of the loan. Interest does accrue on a daily basis and our representative APR is 98.6%. Once the loan is repaid in full, you receive your item back.

How much can you borrow against an item?


Cash Monkey can lend anything from £100 to £100,000 dependant on your needs and our valuation fo the item.
